Editorial Portfolio
Hi, I’m Natalie, Creative Director of Morris & Milne Interiors.
I’m a qualified interior designer with 4–5 years of experience creating homes that are beautiful, practical and personal. I enjoy writing about how interiors integrate with our everyday life, how we live in our spaces and how they can affect our general wellbeing. I’m also a firm believer that small changes can make a big impact.
When I’m not designing and writing, you’ll find me feeding two relentlessly hungry children or walking a cocker spaniel with boundless energy!

Below is a selection of my editorial writing, covering topics on interiors, wellbeing and how we live in our homes.

What My Kitchen Is Teaching Me
“As a home owner, if you’ve not already done a kitchen renovation I bet you want one. For us, right now, it’s out of the question. So I’ve come to appreciate our odd little kitchen for what it is… where the dining table takes up the whole room and the cereal sits nonsensically with the saucepans (I said appreciate, not love!).”

Why Your Home Could be Overwhelming You.
“Are you ever sat in your house feeling antsy, or perhaps the thought of going back home secretly fills you with a bit of dread? You could be faced with a home that is overwhelming you. It’s totally normal and something that happens either during busy periods or when life changes but your home hasn’t caught up with you yet.”

Giving Your Home the Best Start This Year
“The holiday season is behind us. For some it's a welcome relief, for others it's just miserable dark nights from here until spring! As an interior designer, I often see how small tweaks can make a huge difference in how a space feels. As we pack up the decorations now is a great time to make some of these small changes in your home to give it the best start for the year ahead.”
